No Return

Steps uncertain along gapped bridges. The ground sways as we grab the rail. Looking back when gone too far. Keep on with fear. The sweat trips.

Shaken without a stir I feel that progress is happening even as it staggers. Blocks of possibilities. Staked high. I clear the mess to foundations made. A bird’s nest of openness.

The story doesn’t play out. It shouts out. See I told you so. You should have trusted. Stand tall and be strong. Congratulations you made it! To where you decide?

After a 73 hour workweek at the election office, I was able to leave while there was light out.

I explored downtown york and watched growing on walls of trees.

Loved the rugged mixed with the historic textures.
