Star Struck

Be brave I remind myself! Progress is not seen from the window. We have to go out there and feel uncomfortable. Challenge our realm of possibilities. Fall down to bounce up. Do not let fear be the excuse. Static is frustrating, so run faster. Kick harder, pound down that door holding a divide between you and reality. No one is going to fall into your lap. You have to put yourself out there.

Drive! Hit that gas, reve that engine. Zoom, shoot off! Whatever it takes to move. Movement is the beginning of everything. Everything that matters. They say in being still you see. What about shifting gears so quickly enough to see matter blurring as passing trees. Your heart beats and it vibrants. It shutters your soul to question. Decide what holds fast to your wandering eyes. The magic is out of the seeking within.

I stopped everything. I stopped looking for love, being in love and for once. She stood there waiting for me to return. The girl I once was before broken dreams. Hopeful, bursting like a star to the sky. Now that girl stands as a woman who will not back down, will not turn away. I will never fit in. What is the point to stand in the crowd? I want to dance, laugh and jump in a massive embrace. Though there are times, I cry and fall out of sense. Those are the shades between the night crossing day.
