Sailing Clouds

Feels that the journey is synchronizing in ways that I could have never imagined. Before heading back to Bali, I thought to stay in Baltimore and play it safe. To keep my growth contained to a manageable size. I even considered letting the project in the village go, but I had the smallest fraction of faith to push beyond. There has got to be more to this dream then this. Sometimes we pursue things that do not make sense at the time, but once we move chance encounters lead to open doors and some crazy chain of events.

We can only master our destiny if we believe in it enough. The orderly straight path will provide just that, ‘ordinary results’. What if you wanted to see something magical? Can you climb above the clouds to see the world below? Is the imagination left only to children or are ‘adults’ allowed to play? What if anything were possible? That those desires you have buried in your heart could actually come true? Would you go for them? Would you run so fast with arms out? Diving into a drop so far that a waterfall would have to carry you back to sanity.

Travel is special as it takes you out of yourself. To an alternate space where you have to start again and react. No longer on auto pilot. Those protective bumpers do not exist and only in the raw can you break your monotony. False pretense and pretension are frivolous. Genuine connection and common quest for meaning bring a sense of togetherness. We are in this journey as one. Learning to shift and transforming far closer to what matters. Being authentically captivated by our moments so pure that you gasp for air taken aback by the beauty of wonder. Baltimore I will be back, but my faith has me sailing on dreams.
