I have returned to the city to get on with business planning, checking on new collection production and model building for a new social enterprise. But my heart longs to spend my days doing more to give back. Working at the orphanage is nothing compared to the village.
I am overwhelmed by the need and intimated by my limited capacity. But I must start somewhere, instead of saying the problem is beyond me. I have many ideas pertaining to English education reform, enterprise mentorship and job creation.
At the end of the day I need to find a balance between my own livelihood, while supporting the community. That said I am willing to put in the long hours if that means making a difference for current and future generations.
