Another Mountain

While writing my dissertation two some years ago there was a song that I kept singing to myself, ‘The Climb’ by Miley Cyrus. At the time I couldn’t see the end and how I could possibly finish this massive project. But I just kept moving along doing all the right things and pushing myself beyond my limits. I find myself facing an even greater mountain. At a point that every dreamer, adventurer and achiever reaches.

It is the time when all levels of mind, body and heart are challenged. A point when everyone else would say ‘hey maybe its not meant to be’. That is when we as Paulo Coelho has labelled us ‘the warriors of light’ pick up our swords and we charge forward into the darkness of the unknown. Not knowing the outcome, but knowing that our heart and passion is full of love for this adventure.

I sing to myself as I prepare the lookbook content ‘There’s always gonna be another mountain, I’m always gonna wanna make it move. There’s always gonna an uphill battle and sometimes, I’m gonna have to lose. Ain’t about how fast I get there, ain’t about what’s waiting on the other side. Its the climb…keep on moving, keep shining, keep the faith baby!’ Miley Cyrus. In the end I completed a fantastic dissertation and landed a great job out of University. So I may not see how this dream will unfold, but it will do so in the most perfect way possible.

Good song and yes I am a teenybopper at heart…always have been and always will be 😉
