Joyful Juggling

Feeling frustrated this morning, I shouted to myself in the mirror ‘Stace, enough is enough, it’s time to revive this broken spirit of yours!’ I decide to return to the gratitude rituals that I practiced regularly when I first moved to Bali.

I started by contacting friends and telling them how important they are to me. Then I wrote two pages in my gratitude journal, thanking the Universe for all the blessings in my life. I concluded with a yoga practice, which I devoted to a person in my life that I feel needs a bit of encouragement.

Happiness is not only a choice, but also a daily effort. To maintain it we must consistently juggle the things that create such a context. If we allow those things to fall away, we lose our balance and sense of self.
