Diverging Road

Something just didn’t settle, I must have watched the ‘What’s Your Dream Video’ like 10 times. It was only a few days prior that I spent hours in Ubud painting a visual interpretation of the poem The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost. I saw myself as someone on the ‘grassy path no steps had trodden black’, but what I neglected to realize was that I was at a new fork in the road. I had a choice to make whether to recommit to this dream or take the easy way out.

But I shyed away from that path and made excuses why London was not where I am suppose to be. After making the decision to stay in Bali and focus only on Indonesia a feeling of comfort set in. We must push beyond the uncomfortable as that is where change and growth can be found. The unease I was feeling came from neglecting my soul commitments to this dream and ignoring my own advice to dreamers.

Bobo and Victoria looked up from their laptops as I enter the room ‘girls I have an announcement to make…I am going to London’. The fear is not going to get the best of me. Not only will I focus on promoting the Elsa Fitzgerald collection, but it is time now for me to pursue my new dream of writing a book. There is always another mountain and a new dream to be fulfilled. So here we are Mr. Frost ‘Two roads diverged in a wood, and I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference’.
