Homecoming

While I sat waiting for the final sewing on a few of my samples, my eye caught a black and white dress. It had been modified many times due to unforeseen constraints in design.
I first set out to draw the dress, much like the early days of my move to Bali. I had a clear vision as to how my business and life would pan out.
As I prepare to fly to London, I am closing the first chapter of this journey. In 3 months the original sketch has changed so much.
When I try the dress on I realise how beautiful it is now then I had originally envisioned. Those little modifications make it special. A design feature that I really loved had to be removed in order for the entire construction to work as a whole.
There is a perfect plan out there for us! We just have to be open to change while staying true to our hearts desire. I can’t believe the time has come for me to show my collection to buyers.
Wish me luck! See you on the other side of the world. I already miss Bali.
